I hate to rant (no really I do lol) but the same man who told us just weeks ago that the economy was in no troubles ( http://watch.ctv.ca/news/election-2008/english-debate/#clip98314) just set up a 25 billion BAIL OUT. (http://www.cbc.ca/money/story/2008/10/10/flaherty-banks.html) He can call it what he wants but it is no different than what was just recently done in the U.S.
Imagine that Steven Harper mimicking US policy.. He's no puppet... Seriously I understand fully well what is going on with the economy but why is it alright to spend money that doesn't exists anyways on the banks and not on social programs such as education and health care. I am sick and tired of hearing about the 107,000 jobs created last month. What he fails to mention is that 97,000 of them were part time jobs.
